Weer een song die ik in ‘one take’ opnam. Stap 1, inspiratie. meestal een emotie of vaag opborrelend gevoel….En dan pak ik mijn gitaar en zet de opname knop aan. Ongepolijst, geen make-up of laagje glans. Rauw, dit is het, in dit moment. En dan stromen de akkoorden, melodie en woorden zo uit me.
Het voelt alsof ik het niet ben en tegelijk zitten er vaak woorden of zinnen in waar ik over aan het nadenken ben geweest. En andere momenten zijn het een soort verhaaltjes die ik verzin, fantasie dus. Ik leef me in in een karakter of een situatie en voel alle rollen en mogelijke interacties de emoties de woorden hard, zacht, alles en dan is er 1 hoofdstroom van emotie en daar ‘surf’ ik dan op…vanzelf bijna.
Dus fictie of waarheid dat doet er niet toe. Geniet ervan, raak ook geïnspireerd of voel gewoon. Dans of zing mee. Alles is okay!
